Our experience with TechSoup Kenya

Over a year ago, our office was closed for more than a month because of the Covid-19 pandemic. We had a very hard time finding ways where the staff can collaborate and work from their homes. One of our partners from Canada, Mission Inclusion, advised us to verify our nonprofit status via TechSoup Kenya to get donated or discounted products! We acted swiftly and TechSoup Kenya verified our nonprofit status and provisioned us with enough licenses. TechSoup staff members are very professional, keen to help, and respond quickly to enquiries.

Experience with the product

Our main challenge was finding a platform where our staff members can work and collaborate anytime anywhere during the pandemic. As per the recommendation of Mission Inclusion, we migrated to Microsoft 365 Business Cloud and it provided us the right kind of tech-solutions to the challenges we already faced. The product is feature rich and works out of the box. We didn’t face any technical problems with the product.

What difference the product has made for our organization?

Our staff members can now work and collaborate from anywhere and anytime. We started using an enterprise grade email(outlook) using our new domain name which increases trust among our partners and the general public. We don’t have to worry about data loss or security incidents anymore as the organization files are stored in the cloud. The paper consumption within the organization decreased since most employees store their files in their OneDrive. We have also moved to a reliable webhost and changed our domain name from www.wise.org.et to www. wiseethiopia.org to get the best out of Microsoft 365 Business Cloud.

We thank you so much for your support!
